Dr. Ellis Traywick grew up in Virginia riding and developed a love for eventing through her involvement in Pony Club. After receiving her veterinary degree from Virginia Tech she completed a one-year internship at Blue Ridge Equine Clinic in Charlottesville, Virginia. She then worked at an equine practice in central Florida before joining Performance Equine as an associate in September of 2016.
Her main veterinary interests are lameness and sports medicine, internal medicine, and dentistry. She is greatly enjoying being in Ocala and being close to so many great equestrian venues and events that are coming to the area.
In her spare time she enjoys running and spending time with her two kittens and off-the-track Thoroughbred, "Ellie". She is excited to be back out on the cross-country course as soon as she and Ellie are ready!
